As a Senior Principal of Populous, John is involved in the planning and design of major sports and leisure facilities. As Principal in Charge John headed the Populous team master planning the wininning London 2012 Games Bid, and more recently, Glasgow's bid for 2014 Commonwealth Games. He is also in charge of the London 2012 Olympic Overlay project, won in Spring 2009.
