Jesús Donaire
Jesús Donaire holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from ETSAM (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in New York. His research work has been supported by scholarships such as Fulbright, William Kinne, and the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome.

A Professor of Architectural Design at ETSAM since 2009 and a Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan since 2016, he has also taught at Suffolk University (Boston), Barnard + Columbia College of Architecture (New York), Nebrija University (Madrid), and the University of Navarra (Pamplona).

He has collaborated with studios such as David Chipperfield Architects in London, Jesús Aparicio, and Alberto Campo Baeza in Madrid. His work has been recognized in both academic and professional fields through awards, publications, conferences, and international juries. He currently serves as Secretary of the BigMat International Architecture Award, established in 2012.
