After a decade as a working professional in his native country, Beriestain moved to Barcelona in the year 2000, to complete a post-graduate course in interior design. In 2002, he opened his first office and there has been no stopping since. Beriestain’s team has overseen some of the most important repairs and designs in the city, collaborating with prestigious firms such as DAB and MARSET (they produce and design high-end lighting) and DAC, a company dedicated to the production of rugs, for which Beriestain supervises the design himself.
Since September 2007, he has worked with the Hotel division of Gaston and Daniela Contract, and is still responsible for the direction of the company from his office. In 2010, Beriestain also opened his own showroom in the heart of Barcelona, where one can find vintage-restored furniture, exquisite books and beautiful high-end candles and fabrics.
