Gustav Düsing
Gustav Düsing studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the Architectural Association in London and runs an experimental architecture studio in Berlin. He has participated in numerous art and architecture exhibitions including the first ever Antarctic Biennale. His work has been award with the 2023 German Architecture Prize (state prize), the 2024 DAM Award, the 2020 Rome Prize for Architecture and in 2020/21 Gustav Düsing was an Artist in Residence at the German Academy in Rome, Villa Massimo. Current ongoing and pending collaborative projects include the German Embassy Residence in Tel Aviv, an experimental membrane structure in Cologne, and the New Architecture School in Siegen, Germany. Since 2015 he has taught at different German Universities including the TU Braunschweig and the UDK Berlin. In 2021 he was appointed visiting Professor at the University Roma Tre and in 2022 he taught at the Cornell in Rome program.
