Graziella Roccella is Adjunct Professo in Architectural Design at Politecnico di Torino. Her research topics focus on Housing in the Lands of Excellence and more recently on Smartfood, a project that combines interests in the fields of Eco-tourism, agriculture in peri-urban areas, short-chain food production and the re-use of existing buildings. Graziella Roccella is Author of many international publications related to the contemporary culture of housing, architects and masters of contemporary history. Her book Gio Ponti, Master of Lightness has been published by TASCHEN in five languages. She has written entries and has worked in the Scientific Board of the Encyclopedia The A-Z of Modern Architecture, published by Taschen. Recently she has worked as a peer reviewer for the International Review Proyecto Progreso Arquitectura, Sevilla Spain. She has lectured in many national and international congresses and has organized cultural events for the School of architecture, Politecnico di Torino and also in collaboration with Turin Architects Association for 2008 UIA World Congress. As free-lance architect, Graziella Roccella's work and research has been awarded in national and international competition: 2014, 1st prize Competion for the Families' Wellness Park in Cles, Trento (M. Bernini, leading architect) 2010, Special Honorable Mention: International Competition Turin's Metamorphosis, Spina 4 (G. Roccella Leading Architect).
