After taking part in the “Knowledge Messengers”
project, promoted by MIUR, I applied for WASP training
in 3D printing and parametric design software
for architectural project digital management.
As member of Studio Giglia I cooperated in designing
host and residential facilities and, together with Studio
La Monaca, worked on the design of a new port
area in Marinella di Selinunte (Sicily), based on a Odile
Decq design.
Recently, a joint-project designed in cooperation with
Studio Giglia and OFL Architecture won a national
competition for the new Parish Complex of Santa Barbara
in Licata, while another reached the final in the
international Lighthouse Sea Hotel competition promoted
by YAC. My latest project is a wellness resort in
Latvia, in partnership with 3Gatti Architecture.
I carry out higher education activities and research
works by the Architecture Department of Palermo
University, including workshops, exhibitions, labs and
consultancy for international projects.
My personal research draws from Giancarlo De Carlo
and focuses on degraded urban area regeneration by
means of architectural micro-actions conducted in a
participatory design.
I have been among the architects involved in the Farm
Cultural Park project, an independent cultural centre
which has provided the once forlorn and unknown
town of Favara with a new identity, by operating in
contemporary art projects, creating an international
artists network and successfully developing a unique
and effective global dynamic.
I currently work as concept designer and senior 3D
modeler with Studio Fuksas.
