Simultaneously, he developed researches and projects in the field of sustainable architecture, urban regeneration, exhibitions set-up and interior design.
In 2009 he founded with other architects, the architectural firm Rizoma Architetture, after 10 years of professional experiences with other personal signatures of architecture.
Giovanni Franceschelli has been lecturer in several national and international conventions dedicated to hospitality and housing. In 2019 he has been professor, invited at YAC Academy in Bologna and since 2019 he has been working as Design 3 professor at IED of Florence.

Giovanni Franceschelli, born in Italy in 1973, is an architect graduate at the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara, Italy in 1999. In 2001 he got his postgraduate degree in Advanced Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. When he came back to Italy after his studying and working experience in Spain, he majored in the design of almost-zero impact NZEB buildings, preferring wood structures. Simultaneously, he developed researches and projects in the field of sustainable architecture, urban regeneration, exhibitions set-up and interior design.
