Born on January the 29th 1966 in Locarno, southern Switzerland.
Francesco Buzzi runs his own practice, Buzzi Studio di Architettura in Locarno.
From 1986 he studies architecture at ETH Zurich, graduating in 1993. He also attends the Art History course at Zürich University as part of his studies.
He takes an internship in 1989 by Livio Vacchini, whom will become a figure of reference.
In 1990 his residency by Riken Yamamoto in Tokyo leads to academic research on architect Kazuo Shinohara
