Francesca Zoboli graduated in visual design at "Scuola Politecnica di design" in Milan in 1981, and in painting at "Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera" in 1985. She is working in Italy and abroad as an interior decorator since 1990, when she founded the "l'O di Giotto" studio. Her activity is supported by a pictorial research, focusing particularly on the paper dyeing with wax and ink. Mixing painting and decoration she creates an original language inspired by textiles, wallpapers, ancient painting tecniques, traditional and etnic patterns, plasters, natural textures as wood, leaves, or soil. Watchful and sensitive to the upper fashion, design and contemporary art trends, Francesca Zoboli tries to be careful to the environment, in order to develope the more suitable project for every place. She works in very different situations, like private houses, professional studios, residences, shops, hotels, often in team with architets and interior designers: In 2006 Summer, she conceived and realized the decorative panels for the new Kenzo's concept store in Paris. She designed for the company Wall&Deco a line of wallpaper Services and portraits of Francesca Zoboli have been published on AD, Case da Abitare, Casaviva, Casamica, Marie Claire e ViviMilano.
