Francesca Protopapa aka Pistrice, was born in Rome and graduated in History of Art and Graphic Design. In 2004 she moved to Paris and has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for magazines, publishing companies and communication agencies. In 2011 she founded Squame, an association promoting a selection of young international illustrators through publications and exhibitions. She has collaborated with the artistic director & team of the ARF! Festival of Rome since 2017.
