She graduated in Art history at the University of Florence and attended a Fine Art print course run by Sabine Korth, becoming her assistant from 1998 to 2004.
She later studied and worked with Andrea Pistolesi, and then specialized in black & white printing with Francesco Nonino and still-life photography with Ludovico Fossà. She had the opportunity to further her knowledge with reknowned photographers as Sarah Moon, Douglas Kirkland, Silvia Lelli, Massimo Agus, Pino Ninfa.
