Fernando Alonso Pedrero (Zamora 1992) Artist based in Pamplona (Navarra). Architecture PhD (2020) from the University of Navarra, Spain, where he is currently researching and working in the research line "critical analysis of digital culture in architecture". (+info) In his career as an architect, his work is physical and virtual: Architectural Projects, Installations, Sculptural Models, Sheets and Articles; focused on the dissemination and critical reflection of formal mathematical concepts.

He is currently PhD Assistant Professor in Project subjects: Geometry and Form Laboratory (ARCH. 1o), Management in digital Prototyping (ARCH. 4o), Service Product and Fashion Product Workshop (DES. 2o), Furniture Design Workshop (DES. 4o), among others, at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. He has taught internationally at the Academy of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Gdansk. The Workshop was titled: Projecting Contemporary Geometry (03-28-2020 to 04-08-2020)

-In his technical artistic training, it highlights: the painting and sculpture workshop: Arte-Figurativo by Antonio López (2010); Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle's Conceptual Art Workshop (2010); the Cristina del Rosso Painting Workshop (2010); Manuela Moscoso's Curatorial Studies Workshop (2013) and his work as an Architect in the Ataria studio (2015) and in the Otxotorena Arquitectos studio (2013 and 2016).

-He received: the Spanish Ministry of Education Collaboration Grant (2014); the PII Scholarship for the University of Navarra Research Initiation Program (2015), the PIF Association of Friends of the University of Navarra Doctoral Studies Scholarship (2016-present) and the mobility scholarship of the Association of Friends of the University (December 2019- June 2020). He has won the Golden Pineapple at the Artistic Congress of UnivForum Roma 2016. He received the Extraordinary Award Luis Moya Blanco Architecture Final Degree Project 2015-2016 in which he presented the project: "Emergency Hospital Structure (EHE)"(2016).

-Among other exercises, he has curated the exhibition “Piccole Utopie / Small Utopias” for the MAXXII in UNAV (2016), has participated in the design of the showroom “El Naturalista-shoes” with Fernando Pagola (2016) and has designed the Philosophical Photography Pavilion FCOM (February 2017). His work has been exhibited in Tabakalera (San Sebastián), in the Official College of Architects of Vitoria, in the Official College of Architects of Zaragoza, and in the Official College of Architects of Marseille.
