Since the early 1960s, Fausta Squatriti’s research has been divided between the visual arts and writing. She has exhibited her work in Italy and more frequently abroad, where she was also intensively engaged as a publisher of graphic art and multiplesbetween 1964 and 1986. She has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, Venice and Milan, and was a visiting professor at the universities of Manoa (Hawaii) and Mons. She has lectured on her work and other subjects in Italy, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Paris. In 1986 she was the curator of Art and Science: Colour at the Venice Biennale, with essays published in the catalogue.
