Fabio Verdelli
Fabio Verdelli was born in Piacenza in 1974. He studied at Politecnico di Milano and in the street, in the shops, on the trains and in the gardens, in towns and woods and everywhere in many other not so common ways. He decided to became a designer because he knew that a lot of irony is needed. In those times He loved Rodari and Kipling, chocolate and trees. He had so much fun in his first design attempts and, suddenly, he found himself working at Design Continuum. He then moved on to IED research centre and then again with Daniele Testa’s B-On creative lab. In the meanwhile not only he never stopped to tell stories to himself about design but he also told those stories in many different other places as Polytechnics, Italian Schools of Design and European Institutes of Design in Italy and beyond. He has met a lot of funny and nice people and many moons have risen in the process. Lately he is working on his own and with Dodo Arslan or others that know how not to take him too seriously. Till now He happily designed for Ambasciata dei Paesi Bassi, Bene, Bosch, Briko, Chicco, CocaCola, Columbia Tristar, DeLonghi, Diesse, Elan, Fiat, Fila, Haworth , Head , Hoover, HP , Hyundai, Ibm, Ideal Standard, IED, Ikea, Inda, Lever, Kia, Luxottica, MGM , Motorola, Olivetti, Roche, Samsung, Saunier Duval and Trevi Coliseum. At the moment he keeps loving chocolate and trees.
