ran Chen, born in Israel in 1970, studied Architecture at Bezalel School of Art and Design in Jerusalem and received a B.Arch Diploma with Honors in 1996. His first projects were built in Israel shortly after his graduation and included private 1 residences, retail, commercial and restaurant interiors. In 1999, shortly after moving permanently to New York City, Eran became a Design Principal at Perkins Eastman Architects, where he led some of the firm's most notable projects in such sectors as education, residential, healthcare and commercial development. A dynamic force in Manhattan's development market and the guiding energy behind multiple prominent projects in Manhattan, his presence is increasingly noted in the world of architecture and design. Eran is a guest Professor at Bezalel School of Art and Design and an advisor to many high-profile projects both nationally and internationally. With Eran's versatility and ingenuity, ODA is now involved with a wide range of projects including architecture, interior architecture, and furniture design. Gaining acknowledgment for imaginative and provocative concepts, Eran is recognized in publications such as Interior Design, The New York Times, Architectural Record, The Architect's Newspaper, and has recently drawn international attention from MARU Magazine, Concept Architecture Magazine, Frame and others.
