Elena Georghiadou graduated in 2009 from Birmingham City University with a BA degree in Graphic Design. In 2010 she graduated from the University of Southampton with an MA degree with distinction in Advertising Design Management. She has a work experience in Advertising and Design for more than 10 years. As a graphic designer she is responsible for projects ranging from website design, print design, motion graphics, advertising campaigns, brand identity, design of social networks etc. As a freelance designer, in 2011 she won a tender of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the University of Cyprus and produced a photographic exhibition regarding the relations between Cyprus and Hungary. In April 2015, looking for a new challenge, she started her career as Senior Graphic Designer for YO2 Designs. With passion for design and attention to detail, under the supervision of creative director Pericles Liatsos, she started creating new design visuals for YO2 wallpaper collection, named YO&ME. In 2017 she produced new unique designs, consisting of wallpapers, rugs, carpet tiles and parquet. Furthermore, Elena is also responsible for the development of the overall layout and production design for the company’s product catalogues, advertisements, brochures, leaflets, newsletters, exhibition displays, image manipulations and website. Her designs are displayed in showrooms, hotels, private residences, restaurants and cafes across the world.
