Edoardo Franceschini was born in Catania, but at the age of 20 he moved to Florence, where he accepted the most different jobs. When he returned to Sicily he studied Euripide, Omero and its myths and was so deeply interested in Magna Grecia that he projected his first scene painting “Ifigenia In Aulide” by Euripide. The passion for scene paintings leaded him to Rome and then to Milan, which in 1956 became his second city. He started to travel around the world, above all to the East. After some years in Paris, he now lives between Milan, Albissola Marina and the Umbria countryside.
