Davor grew up in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina (ex Yugoslavia). His pursuit of architecture in secondary school led him earn a diploma in architectural design at the University of Sarajevo’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning, graduating at the top of his class as one of the best students in his generation.
Davor worked as an architect in Yugoslavia until civil war broke out. After he and his family spent time as refugees in Denmark, he and his wife were granted permanent residency
