Following studies in visual art at the Beaux Arts school in Bordeaux, Christian Desile becomes a visual artist and photographer. Passionate by design, he finds his true passion in the creative processes and the confrontation of technical problems regarding geometry, aesthetics, morals.....which in his eyes makes an object interesting and that makes us love it. He launches his first prototype folding chair at the two hundred year celebrations of St Etienne in 2008, where he is noticed by VANGE.
