M.Sc. in Architecture, Caterina Pilar is an architect, designer and photographer.
Graduated from Politecnico di Milano in April 2012 and postgraduated in museography and design of archeological site with an internship at Vaticans Museum. She attended to MOOC’s courses at University of Tokyo with professor Kengo Kuma. She worked between Milan and Bergamo with De8 Architetti, Studio Cardenas, Caravatti+Caravatti and Elena Cerizza. Presently she’s working as freelance architect and photographer with her studio thecaterpilar based in Bergamo.

Furthermore she is editing manager of Architette-archiwomen edited by Rebelarchitette that promote equity rights in the profession.
From 2019 she is contributor of Architempore blog.
Caterina was also co-founder of spoon.CITY, an online platform that wins Raffaele Sirica Award at Festa dell’Architetto 2015. In 2013 she exhibited during Milan Design Week at Università Statale.
Curious, flexible, assertive and innovation enthusiast, Caterina considers the project as the result of multidisciplinary fields contamination.
