Carolina worked as a choreographer before starting a career in design. She graduated at Central St Martins in London where she specialised in animation direction and illustration. After graduating in 2004, Carolina won an Animate! commission for the film As The Crow Flies. From 2005 until 2013 she worked as animation director at Nexus Productions in London. Projects that have followed include commercial projects for MTV, Sony PSP, BBC, Microsoft, Prada, Barclays, Vodafone, Chloe', Fendi, a series of short films for Animal Planet and music videos for Colleen, Metronomy, Four Tet. Most recently Carolina has been working on the on-going BBC3 re-brand Threeworld, which won a Brand Identity award at Eurobest and a 60-second commercial for NSPCC, which was nominated for a BTA Craft Award, and directed the Volkswagen campaign - Think Blue - in China. In 2010 she created and art directed the identity, set design and title sequence for the reality show The Arrangement, a floral design competition series produced by MTV. In 2010 Carolina has been commissioned by ISRE to make the short film Le fiamme di Nule. Beside her career as director Carolina is also an internationally known illustrator and art director. Together with Saatchi&Saatchi she won a Clio Award for the print illustrated campaign for Pashley bikes. Her work has been commissioned by clients such as IKEA, MTV, Adidas, Microsoft, LeSportSac, Max Mara, and magazines such as Vogue, Tank and Grey.
