Carol Gay
Carol Gay was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1976 and graduated in 2000 at Mackenzie University in Architecture and Urbanism. She lives and works in São Paulo with a focus on architectural projects and product design.
She gave workshops in conjunction with Notechdesign (group formed by students of the workshop with the Campana Brothers) at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, and at MuBE in São Paulo. Carol worked at the Brazilian furniture company Tok&Stok as product designer from 2002 to 2004. In 2006 she was invited to participate at the exhibition “Wallpaper Global Edit” by Wallpaper magazine at Armani Theater during the Milan design week. She collaborated with the glass studio of Bormioli Rocco, Firma Casa design gallery and the Museu da Casa Brasileira in São Paulo. From 2014 Carol is part of the contemporary design team at James Gallery in Paris, France.
