For many years now I've been working with photos and imagery on the side. Since I left my former position as designer, architect and co-founder of DAP Stockholm, I have made this work my sole interest and daily occupation. More about previous work is found on Linkedin.

In my youth I learnt the craft of painting icons according to the methods of the Russian orthodox school. My upbringing was in the home of a photographer and both things have highly influenced me in choice of technique and imagery.

Icons are sometimes called "the windows to heaven". By looking at the icon, through the image, the observer may behold another reality. But the perspective is also the reverse. The fixed point is not at the horizon. It is the observer who is the centre of the perspective.

In my imagery I search for this experience. I want the observer to be both the object of the image and the subject of the look. I want the image to be in dialogue with those who observe.
