Beilei Fan

Fan Beilei is the co-founder, partner and principal of genarchitects. She is China First Class Registered Architect and RIBA Chartered Architect. Beilei received her Master of Urban Design from Technische Universität Berlin and Master of Architecture from Tongji University. Fan Beilei and her works have been invited to participate in numerous significant exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale of Architecture, the Sino-Europe Architectural Invitational Exhibition, and Contemporary Chinese Architecture Exhibition at Harvard University. His works have won prestigious awards, such as the WA Chinese Architecture Award （China）, the Brick in Architecture Awards (USA), the World Architecture Festival Award (UK), the Iconic Awards for Innovative Architecture (Germany), and THE PLAN Award (Italy). Fan has been teaching design studio as a guest lecturer at Tongji University since 2018. And she has been invited as a guest speaker and critic by academies and institutions including Harvard University, The University of Hong Kong, Tongji University, Southeast University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her works have been wiedly published in professional journals such as Architectural Journal, World Architecture, Time+Architecture, and THE PLAN. They have also been festured in multiple professional publications by leading publishers, including Thames & Hudson (UK) and Birkhäuser (Germany). Fan Beilei's practice has earned professional and academic recognition through her representative works, including Youyi Bay Community at Aranya, Mi Casa Su Casa Club Hotel , and Juanzong Apartment (2023)，Dingshu Vocational School of Pottery (2021), Yitingting Cottage (2019), Jiaotong Warehouse Renovation (2018), Shangsi'an Cottage (2016), Fuli Garment Factory Renovation (2015).
