I graduated in 2012, from the University of the Basque Country, Spain and hold a Bachelors degree in Arts specialized in graphic design. I spent the last 4 month of my degree in England studying Textiles and with one of my projects I won the International Polyrey Design Awards in the Happy Colors category (my design is currently on sale in their catalogue). Since I finished my degree, I have been working in my own studio as a freelance graphic designer, developing hand-drawing and computer skills, and also working on my own pattern design projects that currently are based on Sumi-e Ink wash painting. I have always loved interior design, textiles, household objects design, furniture and lighting and for the last two years I’ve been obsessed with patterns applied to them. Patterns have become a determining factor in graphic design and I love them among other reasons for its sensations of no limits or endings and the possibility to create a whole visual world and atmosphere with them.
