Andrés was born in Medellin Colombia. He grew up in the old university and culture known town Lund i the south of Sweden. After a professional badminton career, with over 70 international tournaments played around the world Andrés stepped in to the world of craft and got trained as a cabinetmaker. He moved along studding design at HDK-Steneby, School of Design and crafts at the University of Gothenburg and continued to Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies at University of Linkoping. During spring and summer Andrés is located in Milan where he is studying industrial design at Istituto Europeo di Design.
