Anders Hjelm was born in Uppsala in Sweden in 1966 and trained at the University of Gothenburg’s School of Design and Crafts. He began his career as an interior architect at an architects’ firm in Gothenburg and then in Jönköping before setting up his own studio in 2007. Besides chairs and bar stools, Anders has also designed lamps, coat racks, coat stands and product displays. As an interior architect he has completed commissions for hotels, offices, private homes and cruise ships.
