Alexander Nettesheim
Alexander Nettesheim was born in 1984 in Cologne. During his school years he discovered his creativity through an internship in creation and graphics at ad agency b+d promotion GmbH. After graduation and civil service his determination to pursue a career in industrial and production design grew. In 2005 he began studying Production Design at the Fachhochschule Aachen and got his diploma in 2009. During his studies Alexander Nettesheim expanded his expertise in crafts and forming through internships at the carpentry workshop at Museum Ludwig Cologne and Colani Design Germany.
Since 2010 Alexander Nettesheim has realised several of his ideas in cooperation with notable manufacturers. Here, he works on structural, organisational and functional connections in product development and product design. Problems are solved analytically and with high creativity, and new approaches with respect to ergonomics, production processes and formal-aesthetic aspects are developed.
