Aldo Andreoli was born in Torino, an industrial city in the north of Italy, known for being the birthplace of FIAT cars factory, and more recently for organizing the winter Olympic games. Torino is also the hometown of many well known car styling companies, like Pininfarina, the designer of many Ferraris, Italdesign, who styled, among other things the Volkswagen Golf, and Bertone, very well known for the design of the famous motor scooter Lambretta.
