My name is Adam Christopher and I am a Contemporary Sculptor and product designer. My most recent work being my own range of geometric garden flower pots and coffee tables and special commission sculpture for Royal Caribbean. My flower pots and planters are branded as “AC Planters and Flower Pots” and you will see the logo for my AC brand on each of my designs. I studied car design from 2004 to 2008 and went on to do work with Ford and LEGO. In 2011 I left my job as a toy designer and began developing a range of products to bring to market, the results of which can be seen here on my website. As you can see, I hand made all my pots and coffee tables in my studio in Hertfordshire up until 2015. From the first sculptures to the messy business of doing hundreds of experiments to get the mix of material right, to testing metallic finishes to add that extra zing to the design and make a feature of gardens or homes. These days I have had to focus on different parts of the business so now work with a studio who deliver my products for me at a high quality. My range of AC flower pots and coffee tables is to be relaunched towards the end of 2016 following the lengthy process of setting up and supply chain. I am available for sculptural commissions in the interim and or production of existing designs so if there is something you like or you are interested in having some sculptures designed for a space then get in touch. To get an idea of the some of the work that went into the early development you can see the design process for the range of sculptures I did below as well as the strong media attention I received.
