Before founding Fractal Construction LLC, Ulises Liceaga has worked on multiple mid-size residential and commercial projects in the US and UK. Mr. Liceaga was part of the design team at the renowned firms of Cesar Pelli and Robert A.M. Stern in New York for seven years. During his tenure at Robert Stern Architects, Mr. Liceaga was involved in the design of several luxury residential hi-rises as well as eight new Townhouses in New York City. While at Cesar Pelli and Associates, he worked on the design of the award-winning residential building “The Solaire” in Battery Park City and the emblematic “Bloomberg Tower” in mid-town Manhattan. He has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 2004. Before settling in New York Mr. Liceaga co-founded an architectural studio in Mexico City where he primarily worked on open competitions. His firm was awarded two winning submissions, one for the design of a Student Center at a satellite campus of a Mexican State University and one for the design of an Equestrian Center in Mexico City. Mr. Liceaga received a grant from his alma mater to work at the office of Architect Dante Benini in Milan, Italy for a summer. He graduated Cum Laude from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City receiving a B. Arch. Degree.
