When you project a terminal with such specifities, you inevitably put in relation two opposed worlds: the surface of the city, with its differents and daily situations, and the underground, unknown space.
The sub-way stations often become no-places, where hasty people walk without stop and without look where they are.
The intention of the project is that to put the terminal in the area that it is been the
landing of boats and ferries in the history of Lido in front of the church.
In this way with the existing buildings the terminal will create a new urban space and in the same time the terminal will offer an unique center of trasports.
The project is articulated in three phases: the arrive of the sub-way with its heart of climb, the dig that includes the shop center, and a volume datached from the ground where a restaurant will look forward Venice.
