The new Museum will occupy the first three floors and the courtyard of an important building of Bologna, the Palazzo Pepoli Vecchio, dating back to the XIV century. The original building has been extended, modified and richly decorated mainly in the XVIII and XIX centuries. Some columns and arches in the main entrance and the external facades belong to the original building.
The project deals with the historical parts, which will be refurbished, with the courtyard, which will be covered and transformed ...
