The Yarra Pavilion creates a place of rest for walkers and cyclists that provides shelter from the elements and space for social gatherings.
With an upper and a lower entrance the pavilion will be suspended from a slope overlooking the yarra river and takes the shape of two interconnected rectangular boxes that mirror nearby bridge construction aesthetics.
Constructed mainly of local hardwood timbers, steel cabling is also used to create balustrades and support for network of native vegetation.
