The holiday house sits as walkable sculptural building in the strong landscape with a square ruin, old retaining walls, large rocks as well as olive groves and oak tree forests. in the south the house has a spectacular terrace with a great view on the sea and with a low, broad parapet (40/70cm). under the terrace is a further guest room with a bath and cellar. the living space has the atmosphere of a covered outside space and gets maximum glazing on the back too, which releases the view as contrast to the width of the sea on the bizarre rock landscape lying directly behind. two large movable wall pieces let the living space with kitchen and bedroom become a large flowing area. outside the oversized staircase dramatizes the hillside situation and connects the guest room and its separate terrace with the house in a generous gesture.
The bungalow integrates as a walkable sculpture into a robust, earthy
landscape complete with a square ruin of an ancient sheperd's shack, old
supporting walls for olive orchards, huge rocks as well as a forest of oaks
and olive trees.
Southbound, the house features a terrasse defined by a low balustrade that accentuates the dramatic ocean view. Located underneath is the guestroom.

The living room is defined as a covered outside space, which also receives a fully paned opening towards the back- offering a view of the bizarre rocks directly behind as a contrast to the wide oceanview.

Two large movable wallpanels allow living room, kitchen and bedroom to
become one great floating space.

Outdoors, the steep hillside is being accentuated by a oversized freestanding staircase, which in one generous gesture links the guestwing
with its small terrasse to the house as a entity.

Materials: bright ocher lime finish in the color of the surrounding rocks, all floors in sanded / grinded terracotta slabs. except the glazings of the living space all glazings can be pushed completely into the walls.

Das Ferienhaus sitzt als begehbarer skulpturaler Baukörper in der kräftigen Landschaft mit quadratischer Ruine, alte Olivenhain-Stützmauern, grossen Felskörpern sowie Eichen- und Olivenbaumwald. Richtung Süden erhält das Haus eine den Blick auf das Meer dramatisierende Terrasse mit niedriger, breiter Sitzbrüstung (40 / 70 cm) mit darunterliegendem Gästezimmer. Der Wohnraum wird als gedeckter Aussenraum formuliert und erhält auch auf der Rückseite eine vollflächige öffenbare Verglasung, welche den Blick als Kontrast zur Weite des Meeres auch auf die direkt dahinterliegende bizarre Felsenlandschaft freigibt. Zwei grosse öffenbare Wandstücke lassen den Wohnraum mit Küche und Schlafzimmer zu einem grossen fliessenden Raum werden. Im Aussenraum wird durch die überdimensionale Freitreppe die steile Hanglage inszeniert und der Gästetrakt mit davorliegender kleiner Terrasse mit einer grosszügigen Geste mit dem Haus als Ganzes verbunden.
Materialisierung: heller rotockriger Kalkputz in der Farbe der umliegenden Felsen, alle Böden aus Terrakotta-Platten, in gleichem Farbton ausgefugt und anschliessend wie Terrazzo feingeschliffen. Ausser bei der Verglasung des Wohnraumes lassen sich alle Verglasungen komplett in die Wände schieben.
