H&H has worked on several recycling projects which reuse structures discarded by the oil industry. As such, this project utilizes former industrial-site dwelling units as its ’building blocks’.
B-Camp is a low-budget dwelling alternative for young adults who like a short commute: a creative environment with adjoining recreational facilities and adjacent to the H&H studio. The scant 25-35 m2 units are balanced with higher-than-usual ceilings, bi-level plans, and individual terraces on the upper levels. The units are composed of surplus windows and doors, scrap materials from the metal industry and clad with a transparent, corrugated plastic panels.
