White and luminous drop lights levitate in the air space and offer diffused lighting. They capture light, reflect it and glow themselves. Daylight and shadow deliver vitality, capturing the fleetingness of the moment and drawing it upon the paper sculptures‘ surfaces. Their delicate material presence becomes most evident in the evening hours, forming a luscious orange sunball. Vanishing at night, they re-appear with the first tentative and hesitating morning rays: flying objects coming in.
Inspiration: flying things. Materials: Wire, glue and paper. Colour: translucent, white. Client: private.
