RiVIT ha vinto il 1ST PRIZE al concorso Beach & Pool 2008/09

RiVIT (2009) is a beach mat, compact and re-closable just as a small case, which integrates a photovoltaic system(PowerFilm™ photovoltaic solar panels based on amorphous silicon technology ) to recharge small electronic devices, such
as cell phones, MP3 players, netbook, USB ventilator, etc.
Consisting of two parts, a hood-tent and a stuffed mat, both covered with Waterfront, a fabric made with an after-use recycled Polyester and Teflon-coated to impro ve stain resistance.
Soft to the touch and with an opaque finish.
The stuffing contained in the mat is made of edil fiber, a material obtained from recycled PET, which is generally used as a thermic and acoustic insulating material, with a thickness of 10 mm.

Within the hood-tent a reinforcing structure made of 3 mm diameter stainless steel rods is giving stiffness and keeping at the same a light shading structure.
All fabric parts are conceived to be completely cover-removable and to allow washing of the entire mat.
The photovoltaic system for recharging purposes is of simple and immediate use, consisting of a USB cable, to which any kind of electronic device can be directly connected.

RiVIT allows a comfortable an coloured stay in the open air offering the leisures provided by electricity with the added value of beeing an ecosustainable object created with recycled materials.
