Gunnar Aagaard Andersen (14 July 1919, Ordrup — 29 June 1982, Munkerup) was a Danish sculptor, painter, and designer whose work belongs to the Concrete art movement. He experimented with non-figurative expressionism, with the refraction of light, the properties of colour and the structure of form. He derived his motifs from sensual impressions, transforming them into visual, dynamic forms. Among the designers of the time, Gunnar Aagaard Andersen had a special position.
