Studio Bargone Architects Associates _ Sbarch is an emerging architectural and landscape studio, with offices in Foligno (administrative office) and Rome (logistic office); Federico Bargone and Francesco Bartolucci, the directors, met at the University of Architecture of Florence and became associated in 2002 with Aroldo Bargone. In 2008, Massimo Baldini joined the firm as associate. The professional activity is based on a specialistic and multidisciplinary competences integration.
Sbarch analyzes City, elaborates complex architectural and landscaping projects, studies new themes for urban and environmental re-use and re-organization, applies sustainability models and bioclimatic technologies, using theorical studies, practical experiences and international competitions participations. In the last few years, through rigorous theoretical researches, practical experiences and participations in international competitions, the studio has endeavoured to create a precise interpretation model in order to comprehend the city, simultaneously developing an original approach to architectural and landscape projects. Moreover, thanks to the acquired design experience, the studio has continually striven to create innovative and compelling architectural solutions. Federico Bargone and Francesco Bartolucci have been selected for the Young Italian Blood issue (as young professional italian talents of 2007 and 2009), won the prize EUROPE’S MOST IMPORTANT EMERGING YOUNG ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS NAMED AS “EUROPE 40 UNDER 40” FOR 2009 Award given by European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum.
