Info:
A designer at play, a coffee connoisseur, a contributor and critic of the built environment and overall archy-geek. Sustainably minded, architectural design professional, I believe that conscious creativity can solve most any problem. Whether it is a historical, traditional or contemporary approach the solution can be found in the sensible response to the environment regardless of stylistic approach. My project highlights are the award winning E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, establishing the office of town architects for the new urbanist "Town of EastBay". As the office of town architect was responsible in drafting and implementation of the sustainable design standards, and the development of sustainable-minded modular homes for everyday safer and healthier living. I believe that architecture can provide that critical bridge between economy and environment. Much of my online presence is a personal look into the effects of the built environment on both my professional and private lives and how they are indelibly intertwined.
