  • I was born in 1949 in southern Switzerland, where I still live and work. Here I have the great chance that this region represents a kind of a filter between the Mediterranean and the northern European culture. As many much greater architects than I am, my way was an autodidactical one. I have been working in various parts of Switzerland, until I opened my own atelier 1974 in Lugano with different collaborators. I also used to teach in a school for architecture and in an academy for applied arts. For about five years I was chairman of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects for Southern Switzerland. My work has been published in Europe, Ruussia, Argentina and Japan. My most difficult project seems to be my homepage, which is under construction since internet has been invented and which will – maybe – be ready in December, hopefully of this year.
